After the last Discord cleanup, we are starting directly with more new features to increase the activity of more people.
These are listed and explained in more detail here.
News Role
With this new role you will always get useful CoreUnit.NET, Discord and server updates from now on.
Theoretically we can ping ‘@everyone’ or ‘@Member’ to reach everyone, but so that not everyone mutes the server notifications because of the pings, there is now this role.
If you are interested in news, you can assign this role to yourself by scrolling up on the Discord server and clicking on ‘Channels & Roles’.
There you will find more interesting roles with their descriptions: Click on them to get them or to deselect them.
Level System
The new level system is an incentive to write more actively on the server.
By writing you receive experience points and from a certain number of experience points you automatically receive the next level.
In the spam channel you can use “/level” to see your level or that of others and “/leaderboard” to see the current top 10 chatters on the server.
With the following Count and Span features you can increase your level even better and more entertainingly.
Count chat
Count Chat is all about counting together?
Sounds boring?
Everyone has to take turns counting, so it's not for anyone alone. You can count up super fast in pairs, but if 3 or more people are counting at the same time, it becomes more difficult.
Perhaps agreements will help.
Polls channel
In the poll channel you will find some polls, currently rather funny or interesting.
The channel is not only used to ask funny questions.
It will also be used for important server decisions in the future.
There is now a new notification role specifically for this, which can be assigned at the top of the server under ‘Channels & Roles’.
Spam chat
The new spam channel (formerly bot-spam) should now not only be used for bot commands, bot information or bumping, but also as an experience point farm for the level system. Due to the generalization of the chat, it is allowed to spam and write as much as you want there, as long as it does not violate other server rules.
